Morreale's Mosquito Hollow, 2024
Charcoal and graphite on paper
22in x 30in
A charcoal and graphite tribute to my love for the outdoors and my family’s cabins in the Upper Peninsula. I collaged together a few pictures I’ve taken on our trips over the years, including a portrait of my dad, the infamous Bud Light-mosquito-repellent-incense contraption, our lakeside firepit, and the American flag hanging outside of the beloved “first cabin”. This kind of scene and subject matter is not made into artwork too often, so this is my homage to one of my favorite secret places!
