Part of a set of three still-life paintings documenting late 1980s ephemera collected by my parents during the time they lived in Chicago and hung out on the north side. This piece features a blown-up portrait of Jim Morrison taken from a pin, matchbooks from iconic Chicago bars, and a pool chalk and scuffer from that same era.
